Before we start
Welcome to this Akashic Records & tarot mini challenge!
How does this challenge work?
For the next week, a new prompt will be posted every day that can be answered either through visiting your Akashic Records, by drawing cards from a tarot or oracle deck of your choosing, or by combining these two tools to connect to your intuition and soul. The prompts will be posted on Instagram, Substack, and my website. On Instagram, the guided meditation to take you into your Akashic Records will be part of the post. On Substack and my website, the guided meditation is posted separately and can be paused if you need more time to complete the prompt – the guided meditation gives you five minutes, which might not always be enough.
If you pick cards as your tool for this week, your prompt is the same question those journeying into their own Akashic Records will be asking of their Record Keepers.
For those who are interested in bringing the Akashic Records and their cardslinging together, there are different ways to combine the two. One option is to go into the Akashic Records and asking your Record Keepers which card from the deck you’ve picked for this challenge you need to see today. Another option is to draw your card – before or after going into your Records – and then ask the Record Keepers to tell you more about why you drew this card for the day’s prompt.
A third option would be to draw your card in answer to the day’s prompt and then visualise entering your Records through the imagery or landscape of the card to see if there’s anything else to learn from this card.
You don’t need any prior experience with the Akashic Records or the tarot or oracle decks to participate in this challenge. That said, if you’ve never entered your Akashic Records before, I recommend doing the first four days of my Discover Your Creative Purpose challenge so you’re at least familiar with your Records and Record Keepers before starting this challenge.
I’m also only a DM, comment, or e-mail away, so if anything shows up that you want to share or have questions about, I’m here for you.
What are the Akashic Records
The Akashic Records tend to be described as a metaphysical library where all information about our souls and their journeys are archived. Everything we did, are doing, and might potentially do in the future can be found within the Records.
That said, the Akashic Records are more than a ‘mere’ library. It’s also a place where deep and profound healing can take place, as you’ll discover this month.
With the right tools, anyone can tap into their own Akashic Records and access information about their own soul and its specific path in each of its lifetimes. The guided meditation I wrote for this challenge is one of those tools.
Different people receive information from the Akashic Records differently. You could see things, hear things, feel things, or suddenly know things. It can also be a little bit of everything: you see something, and then you just know something about it, and then you hear a certain phrase and get goosebumps along your left thigh. It’s all possible, so try to remain open and take whatever it is you’ll be seeing, hearing, feeling, or knowing seriously. It might not always add up immediately, but that doesn’t mean you didn’t receive it from the Records or that its significance won’t become clear later on.
When you work with the Records, it’s advisable to not indulge in any alcohol or other substances at least twenty-four hours before entering the Records because these muddy our connection to the Divine and affect our ability to be the clearest channel we can be.
Now you have a basic understanding of the Akashic Records, I invite you to check out the prompt for Day 1 below.

Day 1
Where have I chosen fear over love in my life?
Welcome to Day 1! Today, we’re asking where in your life you’ve been choosing fear over love.
If you already know the general area where you’ve chosen fear over love, or if there’s a specific area you want to focus on during this mini challenge, you can be more specific. Where have I chosen fear over love in my love life? Where have I chosen fear over love in my business or career? Where have I chosen fear over love in the upbringing of my children? …
Today’s prompt is:
Where have I chosen fear over love in my life?
If you’re slinging cards, ask this question of your deck as you shuffle your cards. If you’re using the Akashic Records as your tool, ask this question of your Record Keepers.
Day 2
Why did I choose fear over love here?
For Day 2, we’re asking why we chose fear over love in the area that showed up during Day 1.
Today’s prompt is:
Why did I choose fear over love here?
If you’re slinging cards, ask this question of your deck as you shuffle your cards. If you’re using the Akashic Records as your tool, ask this question of your Record Keepers.
Day 3
Where did this fear come from?
Today, we’re asking our cards, or our Record Keepers, or both, where this fear came from.
Today’s prompt is: Where did this fear come from?
Take your time sitting with this question, whether you’re in the Akashic Records or drawing cards, because it’s one of those questions your ego definitely doesn’t want you to figure out. Because once we know where our fears are coming from, we can do something about them, and that’s not necessarily what our ego wants for us.
Day 4
How can I best release this fear?
We’re halfway through our mini challenge, and today we’re figuring out what we can do to release this fear we’ve been holding.
Today’s prompt is:
How can I best release this fear?
If you’re slinging cards, ask this question of your deck as you shuffle your cards. If you’re using the Akashic Records as your tool, ask this question of your Record Keepers.
If you are in the Records as you ask this question, please know that you can ask your Record Keepers to help you with this release as well. You could ask them to help you release the fear, to send healing where you need healing the most right now, to bring your guides forward so they can help you during this process, whatever speaks to you.
Day 5
What does choosing love over fear look like for me in this situation?
Welcome to Day 5! Today, we’re moving towards the choosing love part of the challenge, and we’re doing so with the following prompt:
What does choosing love over fear look like for me in this situation?
If you’re slinging cards, ask this question of your deck as you shuffle your cards. If you’re using the Akashic Records as your tool, ask this question of your Record Keepers.
Day 6
What would be different now if I had chosen love over fear instead?
Only one more day to go after this one! Today’s prompt might be a tad confrontational, but I promise seeing this question answered helps, even if it might not necessarily feel like it. Here it is:
What would be different now if I had chosen love over fear instead?
If you’re slinging cards, ask this question of your deck as you shuffle your cards. If you’re using the Akashic Records as your tool, ask this question of your Record Keepers.
Day 7
How can I choose love over fear from now on?
We’ve arrived at the last day of our mini challenge! I hoped the answers and information you’ve received this week have helped and will continue to help you on your path towards more love and less fear ♥
Here’s our final prompt:
How can I choose love over fear from now on?
If the answer your Record Keepers or your cards are giving you isn’t the most practical, feel free to ask for some practical advice as well, either by asking your Record Keepers or by drawing another card. Whether you want to shuffle your cards again before pulling another card is up to. Do whatever feels right.
A sacred pause
True, our mini challenge is officially over, but I’m inviting you to take a sacred pause to allow everything that has come through over the past week to fully sink in.
If you’ve been drawing cards this past week, your prompt for today is: How can I best integrate all the information and answers I’ve received over the past week?
If you’ve been working with the Akashic Records, your prompt is as follows:
Make yourself as comfortable as possible. While you might receive information you’d like to write down and remember, it’s absolutely OK to lie down for today’s journey.
Once you’re comfortable, ask the Record Keepers to heal everything they are able to heal right now, and to support the integration of all the information, healing, and wisdom you’ve received over the last seven days.
Give yourself at least five minutes to receive this healing and support, so do pause the recording if you need to or turn your sound off if you’re listening on Instagram.
When you’re ready, take a moment to thank everyone in the Records who’s shown up for you this past week, including yourself.
